Aillwee Cave is located just outside the village of Ballyvaughan, and it is one of the oldest caves in Ireland. The cave has guided tours lasting approximately half an hour. During the tour, you can seek out the unique crystals and fossils located inside the cake. Guests can also climb freely over the Burren limestone pavement located above the cave. The Birds of Prey educational centre is also located here, and you can either purchase tickets just for the guided tour of the cave, just for the Birds of Prey, or a combined package.
