Galway City Museum is located in the heart of Galway city overlooking the famous Spanich Arch. The museum is rich ins Galway’s archaeology, heritage, and history, and it’s a great place to stop by for an hour or two during an afternoon. Some of the exhibitions include prehistoric and medieval Galway, Galway during the Great War, sea science, and a full scale model of the famous Galway Hooker boat.
