Gielty’s Bar and Restaurant is the last pub on Achill Island, situated on the edge of Dooagh Village on the road to Keem Bay. In fact, Gielty’s is the most westerly pub in all of Europe. Gielty’s serves delicious meals all day, including locally sourced sea food. There is a coffee shop next door that is part of the restaurant as well. Gielty’s is also known to have some of the best traditional music sessions during the evenings, and the bar area has the largest public TV screen in all of Achill.
