Muckross House, Gardens, and Traditional Farms

Muckross House is a 19th century Victorian mansion located inside Killarney National Parkabout 6km outside of town. Muckross House includes 65 rooms and was designed by Scottish architect William Burn. Guests who visit the house get to enjoy the lovely interior of the mansion along with traditional farms and gardens. The scenery from the gardens is absolutely incredible. There are also three separate working farms located on the property, each with animals, poultry, and machinery, and there is also a small farm animal petting area for younger visitors. Admission charges vary depending on whether you want to visit the house, the farms, or both. Admission to the house is by guided tour only, and there is no charge for admission to Killarney National Park and the Muckross Gardens.
