Largest town in County Kerry

Tralee is the largest town in County Kerry with a population of over 24,000 people. Tralee is most famous for the Rose of Tralee International Festival which has been held every year in August since 1959. The Kerry County Museum is located in Tralee with exhibitions depicting life in medieval Tralee. The Blennerville Windmill is located just outside the town, and it is Ireland’s largest functioning windmill. Be sure to also check out Tralee Town Park during your stay, located in the town centre with a rose garden comprising of over 5000 different roses.
