Ballina

The second largest town in County Mayo with a population of over 10,000.

Ballina is a beautiful small town in Ireland filled with scenic walks and views of the River Moy. The town is also home to multiple festivals throughout the year including the annual Ballina Salmon Festival held in July. Be sure to talk a stroll over the Salmon Weir Bridge while you’re in Ballina. The Salmon Weir Bridge, which is supposed to resemble a fishing rod, is a pedestrian bridge built several years ago over the River Moy. It offers some great views of the town, especially at night.
